[Men's Basketball] SXU loses on last second shot in OT, 81-80, to Governors State in CCAC …

CHICAGO – A layup with 1.7 seconds left in overtime by Governors State's Payton Harley gave the visiting No. 5 seed Jaguars an 81-80 upset victory over No. 4 seed Saint Xavier University men's basketball (9-9, 8-4 CCAC) Thursday night at the Shannon Center in Chicago. Harley scored a game-high 42 points for GSU in the win. Junior point guard Joshua Evans (Dolton, Ill./Dubuque/Crete-Monee) came off the bench to score a season-high 26 points and was 11-for-12 from the foul line. He also grabbed six reounds and had two assists. Prior to the start of the game, the Cougars had 'Senior Night' for Maurice Chambers (Harvey, Ill./Moraine Valley/Warren Township), Will Jeffers (South Bend, Ind./John Adams), Jeffrey Mayberry (Dolton, Ill./Chicago Christian) and Josh Niego (Chicago, Ill./Lewis/Brother Rice).
