[Men's Basketball] Halverson & Sebalj Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior forward Jack Halverson (Peotone, Ill./Peotone) and senior forward Tino Sebalj (Slavonski Brod, Croatia/Salem/Collin County/3rd Gymnasium) were both named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the Saint Xavier University men's basketball team (24-8, 16-4 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the national office Thursday morning. To qualify, a student-athlete must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Over 500 student-athletes earned the honor. It's the first time that both Halverson and Sebalj have been named scholar-athletes.
