[Men's Basketball] No. 16 SXU Comes Up Short, 75-65, at No. 1 WPU in NAIA Tournament

Oskaloosa, Iowa – No. 16 seed Saint Xavier University men's basketball team's (24-8, 16-4 CCAC) upset bid of host and No. 1 William Penn University (Iowa) came up just short in a 75-65 loss in round one of the NAIA Men's Basketball Tournament Tuesday evening at Penn Gymnasium in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The Cougars outshot the Statesmen 44.4 percent (25-for-54) to 39.4 percent (26-for-66), but WPU outrebound SXU 49-30 and had 19 offensive rebounds to just three by Saint Xavier.
