[Men's Basketball] Four From SXU Men's Basketball Earn All-CCAC Honors

CHICAGO – Four members of the Saint Xavier University men's basketball team (24-7, 16-4 CCAC) earned All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) recognition when the awards were announced by the league office Monday afternoon after the conclusion of the CCAC Tournament this past Saturday. Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) was named to the five-person All-CCAC First Team, senior forward Jack Halverson (Peotone, Ill./Peotone) claimed All-CCAC Second Team honors for the third time in his career, Junior guard Cedric Johnson (Bellevue, Neb./Sioux Falls/Nebraska-Kearney/Bellevue West) was also named All-CCAC Second Team and was Co-Newcomer of the Year with Maurice Commander from Roosevelt University. Junior forward Kevin Bishop (Cleveland, Ohio/Pikeville/Parkland/Sinclair/Benedictine) was place on the All-CCAC Honorable Mention Team.
