[Men's Basketball] Saint Xavier Takes Out Cardinal Stritch, 93-82

CHICAGO – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) finished with a team-high 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting from the field, along with three rebounds, a block and a steal for the Saint Xavier University men's basketball team (8-3, 6-1 CCAC) in a 93-82 victory over Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) in a Chicago Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. As a team, SXU shot 52.2 percent (35-for-67) on the afternoon, the sixth time that they have shot at a 50.0 percent clip or better in 11 games this season. It was also the sixth time that they made 10 or more three-pointers in a game this year, going 14-for-30 (46.7 percent) from beyond the arc.
