[Men's Basketball] King Stays Hot; Saint Xavier Tops Trinity Christian, 85-70

CHICAGO – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) continued his steady play by finishing with a game-high 25 points and made 5-of-7 three-pointers to help lead the Saint Xavier University men's basketball team (11-3, 6-1 CCAC) to an 85-70 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) win over Trinity Christian College (Ind.) Tuesday evening at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. King added four rebounds and four steals and was one of five Cougars to score in double figures. As a team, SXU sank 12-of-21 treys (57.1 percent) and it was the fourth time this season that they shot 50.0 percent or better on 20 or more attempts. It was also the eighth time this year that Saine Xavier drained 10 or more threes in a game.
