[Men's Basketball] King Stays Hot as SXU Takes Down Viterbo, 81-63
CHICAGO – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) poured in 32 points on 12-for-19 shooting and shot at a 66.7 percent clip (6-for-9) from three-point range to lead Saint Xavier University men's basketball (9-3, 6-1 CCAC) to an 81-63 victory over Viterbo University (Wis.) in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. King added four rebounds, a block and a steal. In 12 games so far this season, he is averaging 21.8 points per game while shooting 55.4 percent (97-for-195) from the field and an impressive 50.8 percent (32-for-63) from beyond the arc. King has also scored 20 or more points in eight games and has had 30 or more points in two of the last three contests.
