[Men's Basketball] King Reigns in 82-65 Victory for Saint Xavier over St. Francis

Joliet, Ill. – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) scored a game-high 29 points 8-for-12 shooting, including 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and going 9-for-11 from the foul line, to guide Saint Xavier University men's basketball (15-5, 9-3 CCAC) to an 82-65 triumph over University of St. Francis (Ill.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Saturday afternoon at the Sullivan Center in Joliet, Ill. King added four rebounds and a season-high tying four steals and it's the eighth time in 19 games played this season that he has made four or three-pointers in a game. As a team, SXU shot 54.9 percent (28-for-51) from the field, the 11th time in 20 games that they have shot 50.0 percent or better on the year.
