[Men's Basketball] King Powers Saint Xavier Past IU South Bend, 104-55

South Bend, Ind. – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) scored a game-high 26 points by shooting 71.4 percent from the field (10-for-14), including going 3-for-6 from beyond the arc to lead the Saint Xavier University men's basketball team (5-2, 3-0 CCAC) to a 104-55 triumph over Indiana University South Bend in a Chicago Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest Wednesday evening at the Student Activities Center in South Bend, Ind. He added seven rebounds, two assists and a steal and was one of seven players, including all five starters, to score in double figures for the Cougars. SXU was red-hot from three-point range, knocking down 17 treys on 27 attempts (62.9 percent), and it was the most threes in a game for Saint Xavier since February 4, 2019, when they sank a program record 19 three-pointers in a 112-83 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.).
