[Men's Basketball] King & Halverson Lead SXU to 78-74 Win over IUN

CHICAGO – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) scored a team-high 28 points with seven rebounds and senior forward Jack Halverson (Peotone, Ill./Peotone) posted his first double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds to help give Saint Xavier University men's basketball (14-3, 8-1 CCAC) a 78-74 triumph over Indiana University Northwest in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest Wednesday evening at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. It was the 11th time in 17 games that King has poured in 20 or more points this season and leads SXU with 22.3 points per game. Halverson, playing in just his fourth game this year, recorded his 14th career double-double and is now tied for No. 8 in team history with Scott Bogard (1982-84) and Nick Mikal (1998-02).
