[Men's Basketball] King Drops 39 for SXU in 95-79 Win Over TCC

Palos Heights, Ill. – Senior guard Jaeden King (St. Paul, Minn./Tiffin/Western Illinois/Cretin-Derham) recorded a career-high 39 points, shooting 12-for-17 from the field, 5-for-8 from three-point range and was 10-for-11 from the foul line for the Saint Xavier University men's basketball team (7-3, 5-1 CCAC) in a 95-79 victory over Trinity Christian College (Ill.) in Chicago Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Wednesday evening at the DeVos Gymnasium in Palos Heights, Ill. King added seven rebounds and a blocked shot. His 39 points are tied for seventh-most in single-game history for the Cougars and the most points in a game since former NAIA All-American Jack Krieger (2011-15) scored 43 points in a 90-80 win on February 14, 2015, vs. Trinity International University (Ill.).
