[Men's Basketball] Halverson Lifts Saint Xavier Past St. Ambrose, 75-66

Davenport, Iowa – Senior forward Jack Halverson (Peotone, Ill./Peotone) scored a season-high 25 points on an efficient 11-for-16 shooting from the field with five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal to guide Saint Xavier University men's basketball (19-5, 13-3 CCAC) to a 75-66 triumph over St. Ambrose University (Iowa) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Wednesday evening at the Lohman Arena in Davenport, Iowa. Halverson finished 10-for-12 inside the three-point line and became the 25th player in program history to score 1,300 or more points and now ranks No. 23 for the Cougars with 1,313 points.
