[Men's Basketball] Bishop Powers SXU to 78-74 Victory over Governors State

CHICAGO – Junior forward Kevin Bishop (Cleveland, Ohio/Pikeville/Parkland/Sinclair/Benedictine) posted his team-leading fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 18 points on 8-for-9 shooting from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds for No. 2 seed Saint Xavier University men's basketball (23-6, 16-4 CCAC) in a 78-74 triumph over No. 7 Governors State University (Ill.) in the quarterfinals of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament Tuesday evening at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. Bishop helped SXU shot 54.1 percent overall from the field (33-for-61), the fifth consecutive game that Saint Xavier has shot 50.0 percent or better and the 17th time on the season.
