[Men's Basketball] Bees enter CCAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed

CCAC Men's Basketball TournamentWith a 9-3 conference record, St. Ambrose will enter the CCAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed.The Bees will tip-off the postseason at home on Tuesday against Calumet St. Joseph, the No. 14 seed. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.The two teams did not meet in the regular season. Their originally scheduled game on Jan. 17 was postponed and the rescheduled contest on Feb. 14 was ultimately canceled.SAU enters the conference tournament on a three-game winning streak. The Bees are 14-5 overall while CCSJ is 1-8.The winner of Tuesday's game will play the winner of the Trinity Christian-Indiana Northwest game in a quarterfinal Thursday. The semifinals will be played Saturday and the championship game is slated for next Monday. Olivet Nazarene and Holy Cross are the top-two seeds in the draw.Due to COVID-19 protocol, St. Ambrose is not allowing fans from the visiting team to attend games in Lee Lohman Arena. Only spectators on the home pass list are permitted to attend.
