SLC MBB Tournament launches Tuesday, No. 1 Nicholls opens competition Friday

KATY, Texas — After enduring a tumultuous season of competition across an unorthodox year of college basketball, the Southland Conference officially initiates the league's annual postseason tournament late Tuesday afternoon at the Leonard E. Merrell Center in Katy, Texas, pitting No. 8 Southeastern Louisiana against No. 9 McNeese at 5 p.m. before hosting the nightcap between No. 7 UIW and No. 10 Houston Baptist at 8 p.m., both games set to broadcast on ESPN+.
