Colonels fall in SLC title game at No. 1 McNeese

LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Nicholls State University men's basketball team received an MVP-type performance from Diante Smith, who had a career-high 33 points, but it was not nearly enough to derail top-seed McNeese's historic season as the Colonels fell 92-76 in the Southland Tournament championship on Wednesday evening at the Legacy Center.
