Red and Gold Honors Impressive Senior Class with AEC Win over Cavaliers

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (2/3/2024) – Gwynedd Mercy University (14-8, 7-2) welcomed Cabrini University (7-15, 3-6) to the Griffin Complex for today's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) contest. The Griffins overtook the Cavaliers at 20-19 on a jumper from sophomore guard Jalen Snead (Philadelphia, Pa.) with 7:32 remaining in the first half and tightly held the lead for a 33-32 (0:48) halftime advantage.Graduate guard Manny Clark (Pottsgrove, Pa.) kept the Red and Gold in the lead in the first five minutes of the second half, 43-42 (14:50), but Snead's clutch defense and career-high 15 points served as the true difference maker in a 75-64 Gwynedd Mercy University triumph. Prior to the affair, the Red and Gold faithful honored senior guard Aziz Parker (Westampton, N.J.), senior guard JoHaan Vinson (Philadelphia, Pa.), and Clark in a joyus Senior Day ceremony.
