Men's Basketball Takes Down Calvin at GRSHOF Classic

HOLLAND, Mich.  – Cornerstone started hitting threes early and didn't take their foot off the gas in an 87-72 thumping of Calvin University. Division 3 Calvin only hit 16.7% of their threes, compared to 37% for the Golden Eagles, which was a difference maker in CU's second game of the GR Sports Hall of Fame Classic from the DeVos Fieldhouse. Christian Rodriguez regained his offensive poise, dropping 22 points. Drew Knickerbocker did his part on the glass, collecting 10 rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles. After the contest, Carter Nyp and Corey Ainsworth were named to the All-Tournament team after their stellar play at the GRSHOF Classic. Cornerstone moves to 9-3 overall this season.
