Men's basketball seeking seventh win in a row, looking to sweep Carson-Newman in regular season

Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team is seeking its seventh win in a row. The Railsplitters' last loss came on Jan. 6 at the hands of the Coker Cobras. On the season, Lincoln Memorial has tallied a 15-5 overall record with a 9-2 mark in conference play, winners of six straight games. For Carson-Newman, the Eagles enter the contest with a 15-4 overall record, including an 8-3 mark in SAC play. When the two teams met to start the calander year, Lincoln Memorial decimated Carson-Newman at home, limiting them to a season low 64 points as a team. It is still the lowest point total allowed against Carson-Newman on the season.
