[Men's Basketball] Reid earns KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week nod

WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University freshman guard Trey Reid has been selected as the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced today (Dec. 20).Reid poured in a career-high 31 points and knocked in a career-best seven threes to lead the Falcons to a resounding 87-73 victory over the Sterling College Warriors last Monday night (Dec. 13) to send the team into the Christmas Break on a high note.The Wichita native hit seven of his nine attempts from beyond the arc in the win to move into first-place on the team and fourth in the KCAC this season in three-point percentage (46.6 percent).Reid is also now third on the team in scoring with 11.9 ppg.The Falcons are taking off for Christmas Break and will return to action on Dec. 29 for an exhibition contest at NCAA D-II member Missouri Western State University out of the MIAA conference. Tip-off will be at 3 pm in St. Joseph, Mo.The next KCAC tilt for the Falcons will be Jan. 5 at Tabor College.
