Men's basketball hosts Emory & Henry Wednesday

Harrogate, TN – One week after seeing its six game winning streak snapped on the road at Carson-Newman, the Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team is seeking to start a new streak, beginning Wednesday night at home against the Emory & Henry Wasps. Lincoln Memorial, winners of eight of its 10 last contests, is tied for second place in the conference with Catawba at 9-3 in SAC play, while Emory & Henry is second-to-last in the conference with a 2-11 record in conference play. The Railsplitters maintain a 56-19-1 all-time series lead over Emory & Henry in a series that dates back to 1924. Following the 1977 season, the teams took a hiatus, meeting again when the Wasps ascended to the Division II ranks in 2022.
