Maritime Upended By NYU

After taking on Columbia in an exhibition tilt on Sunday, the Maritime College men's basketball team resumed its regular season schedule by hosting NYU on Tuesday. It was a six-point game at halftime, but the Violets (5-0) pulled away in the second half to earn an 86-64 victory over the Privateers (2-3) at Riesenberg Gymnasium.
