Late Comeback Falls Short for Men's Basketball in 74-69 loss at Hope

HOLLAND, Mich.  – Too many first half turnovers and a Hope second half run doomed the Golden Eagles in the GR Hall of Fame Classic as Cornerstone fell 74-69 at Division 3 Hope College. The hosts also capitalized on more three pointers as they staved off a late CU comeback attempt. Trent Summerfield led Cornerstone with 18 points. 15 of those points came in the first half, including a buzzer-beating three to end the first half. This loss moves Cornerstone to 8-3 this season.
