Gwynedd Mercy Yields to Knights in Battle of 309

Glenside, Pa. – (11/15/2023) – Gwynedd Mercy University (2-2) traveled to local rival Arcadia University (3-0) tonight for the annual playing of the Battle of 309; there, the Knights emerged from a 34-34 halftime stalemate for a 10-point edge, 48-38 (16:27), early in the second half. Arcadia University's lead fluctuated but always remained as the Griffins cut the deficit to as few as three points (51-48, 13:40) and trailed by as many as 15 points (72-57, 4:41) in an eventual 80-74 conclusion. The Gwynedd Mercy University bench came up big with three double-digit scorers in a 52-point effort.
