Big Second Half Sends Wolves Past Griffins, Thomas Leads Five in Double Figures

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (12/9/2023) – Gwynedd Mercy University (3-5) held a 43-40 halftime lead on Alvernia University (4-2) in this afternoon's engagement at the Griffin Complex. Unfortunately, the Golden Wolves overwhelmed the Griffins with a 60-point second half that ended the affair on a 100-87 final. Five members of the Red and Gold scored in double figures, including junior forward Dom Thomas (Mullica Hill, N.J.) who scored a season-high 18 points while gathering three rebounds, handing out two assists, and captaining the Griffins' defensive efforts with a steal.
