Young surpasses 1000 points in 82-81 victory at LTU

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Led by Brendan Young, the Madonna University men's basketball team escaped Lawrence Tech University with an 82-81 victory over the host Blue Devils on Wednesday evening. Young became the 18th Crusader in program history to surpass 1,000 career points in the win, doing so in just his 78th career game at Madonna. The win also pushes the Crusaders to 12-3 overall and 8-1 in WHAC play, while LTU falls to 8-7 overall and 5-5 in the WHAC.
