[Women's Soccer] Tigers score six in home opener

Georgetown College women's soccer came home to the friendly confines of Toyota Stadium for the first time in the 2021 season. It took a while to find the rhythm, but when the flood gates opened they burst in a 6-1 Tiger (1-1) victory.Berea College made the hour and a half trip up I-75 for a battle in Georgetown. GC made it 2-0 in the first 15 minutes as a pair of underclassmen got the team on the board. Loren Moran took a pass from Cleo Wells for the first goal and not six minutes later Hayleah Fletcher netted the game winner.The Mountaineers got on the board after a ball bounded awkwardly into the attacking third, catching Kacy Zimmerman off guard. However, Libby Miller finally found the back of the net several minutes later to squelch any rally thoughts by the visitors.
