Wingate Game Day Central (2/19/2022)

Wingate, N.C.—-Wingate's Saturday sees both swim teams at Queens for the Royal Open. Both track and field teams are in Winston-Salem for the DMR Invitational. Women's lacrosse is at Belmont Abbey at 12, while both top-25 tennis teams host Mount Olive at 1 p.m. The #1 Wingate baseball team hosts Kutztown for a 1 p.m. doubleheader. Softball is in Columbus, Ga. to take on Georgia College at 1:15 and Columbus State at 5:45 p.m. It's Senior Day and Play4Kay day for basketball, hosting UVA Wise at 2 and 4 p.m. Both basketball teams are raising money for the Play4Kay Foundation to support the fight against breast cancer. In addition to selling t-shirts, there will be a raffle (cash only) with items such as Wingate gear, a Vizio sound bar, and Charlotte Hornets tickets available, with proceeds going to the Play4Kay Foundation.
