Wayne McKinney III Named WCC Player of the Week

San Diego men's basketball's Wayne McKinney III has been named the WCC Player of the Week for February 12, the West Coast Conference announced on Monday morning. McKinney III earned back-to-back career-best performances last week, leading the Toreros to a pair of key WCC victories by totaling 55 points, along with 11 rebounds, eight assists and a steal. The junior guard started his big week last Wednesday against LMU, recording what was then a career-high 24 points with six rebounds, six assists and a steal. He finished his week earning a new career high of 31 points to go with five rebounds and two assists.
