Virginia Pulls Away From Lehigh in Second Half, 61-43

The Lehigh men's basketball team opened an early 11-7 lead and stood within four at the half, but Virginia opened the second half on a 26-8 run, on the way to defeating the Mountain Hawks, 61-43, on Friday evening. Lehigh's defense was especially impressive in the first half, allowing just 25 points and holding the Cavaliers to 33.3 percent shooting, but the 2019 National Champions took advantage of a stretch of five Lehigh turnovers in 4:26 of action to open a 22-point lead.
