TU Looks For Victory Against Struggling #23 Warner

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Men's basketball is set to travel to Lake Wales, Fla. Thursday night for the team's final away game of the regular season, battling #23 Warner in The Sun Conference play.

Thomas (9-15, 9-9 TSC) will look to make amends from its recent setbacks before the start of next week's annual The Sun Conference tournament.  Since the team's first meeting with the Royals (15-5, 13-5 TSC) on January 16th, the Night Hawks have shown to the rest of the conference the team's ability to share the scoring load, boasting at least three players in double digit figures.

Junior Guard Jordan Booker heads into Thursday's contest with The Sun Conference's seventh-highest Steals total (98) ever in a season, as the Powder Springs, Ga. product has already run away with the title of NAIA Steals leader.

#23 Warner surprised the conference last week, dropping two close contests against Ave Maria and Keiser.  Rod Boggan (17.2 Points per game), Darryl Mercer Jr. (15.1 Points per game) and Logan West (13.7 points per game with 6.4 boards) continue to pave the way offensively for the Royals.

Thursday's contest will mark the third meeting between the two teams, as #23 Warner edged out Thomas both times by single-digit margins.

Tipoff at the Turner Athletic Center is slated for 7:30 p.m.  Fans can follow the action live by accessing the links below:
