Tritons Return to Mid-Major® Top 25 Poll

For the second time this season, the UC San Diego men's basketball team has cracked the Mid-Major Top 25® college basketball poll. Voted on by Division I head coaches, the Tritons are ranked 23rd in this week's survey.
 
Last week, UC San Diego improved its record to 19-9 overall and 13-3 in The Big West with a pair of Big West wins. The Tritons were winners at UC Riverside for the first time in conference play on Thursday. Saturday, Bryce Pope hit a dramatic three-pointer just before time expired to send the game to overtime, where UC San Diego knocked off UC Irvine to move back into a tie for first place. Earlier Monday, Pope was named Big West Player of the Week for the third time this season.
