Tritons Back Home to Host Gauchos

UC San Diego looks to get back on track Thursday night as the Tritons (15-9, 9-3 Big West) host UC Santa Barbara. Last time out, UC San Diego fell in overtime at Hawai'i. That was the first time this season the Tritons lost when scoring 80 or more points and the 94-point effort by UH marked the most points UC San Diego has allowed in a game this season. The back-to-back setbacks are the first for the Tritons since losing four straight Nov. 24 to Dec. 1.
 
The Tritons are looking for their first season sweep over the Gauchos (13-10, 6-7) after last month's victory in Santa Barbara – UC San Diego's first-ever at The Thunderdome. A win over the Gauchos would improve the Tritons to 11-1 at home.
