Thomas Set to Begin Final Week of TSC Play

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Men's basketball team will begin its final week of the regular season this week, traveling to Lakeland, Fla. Tuesday to complete its The Sun Conference regular-season series against the St. Thomas Bobcats.
 
TU (9-14, 9-8 TSC) will have a second-chance at defeating the Bobcats (10-9, 9-8 TSC) after falling 79-69 to the Miami Gardens, Fla.-based team Thursday.  For both TU and STU, the winner of this contest would be in the driver's seat for the No. 4 seed in The Sun Conference's tournament and have the chance to host a quarterfinal game February 23rd. 
 
Currently, Junior Guards Tim Williamson, Trint Bryant, and Jordan Booker, along with Senior Forward DeSeasn Enzor, average double-digits in Points Per Game. 
 
STU will look to its newly announced TSC Player of the Week Dwayne Russell to keep up the point production.  Russell comes off back-to-back 20+ point games and double-doubles.
