Strong Start Not Enough to Propel Wolves Over Saints

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (1/9/2023) — The Cardinal Stritch University Men's Basketball team lost on Saturday to the Fighting Saints of the University of St. Francis. The Wolves got out to a hot start over the visitors, leading 16-12 just nine minutes into the game. After nearly ten scoreless minutes for the Pack, they found themselves trailing with three minutes left in the first period. When the halftime buzzer sounded, the score sat at 31-23 in the Saints' favor. DaeShawn Jackson (Milwaukee, Wis,) led the way for the Wolves in the first half, scoring 14 points and grabbing 4 rebounds.
