State upsets No. 10 UC in regular season finale; Pittman goes off in his last home game

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State men's basketball (19-8, 14-6 MEC) upset nationally-ranked No. 10 Charleston (24-4, 17-3 MEC) by a final score of 83-66 on Saturday at the Walker Convocation Center. The Yellow Jackets finished the regular season tied for third place in the MEC standings after completing the sweep of UC.
