Spartans Pickup Another Victory Before Senior Day Finale

The Aurora University men's basketball team traveled to Lakeland University on Wednesday night for another NACC showdown, with the Spartans looking to keep their conference tournament hopes alive against the Muskies. The second-half saw the Spartans easily pull away with the 82-62 victory, as Joevonn McCottry led all scorers with 21 points. AU dominated the glass 49-31 as Jeffery Hillmer came down with 18 boards in the contest. AU faces a win and get in scenario on Saturday when they host Dominican University.
