[Softball] Tigers drop a close title game, await national site

It was another thrilling Mid-South Conference Championship softball game between Georgetown College Tigers and Campbellsville University Lady Tigers. GC pushed a run across in the first and CU answered with four. Three in the third tied it and the Tigers (27-19) and Kaylyn Barnett scored on a two-out single by Peighton Rowe for a 5-4 lead in the fifth. Campbellsville tied it in the sixth and pushed across a walk off run in the seventh for the 6-5 advantage.Now the Tigers wait to learn their opening round placement in the national tournament. GC has not been to the national tournament since 2014.
