[Softball] Late blast difference in quarterfinal loss

Carly Oliver started game two for Georgetown College softball with a blast. Her solo home run was a no doubter off the bat over the centerfield fence. The Tigers (24-19) took the early lead, but Campbellsville University scratched a run across in the bottom of the inning. It remained that way until a three-run shot for the home team broke the game open in the fifth. CU (38-11) added an insurance run in the sixth of a 5-1 victory.GC is back in action 11 am ET against Martin Methodist College Friday to start consolation bracket play in Campbellsville, Ky. The first two games Friday are played at Hord Softball Field. Later games will return to Sparks Park in Columbia, Ky.
