Sharks Clean Up with Four Major Men’s Basketball All-SSC Awards

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Having become the first team in Sunshine State Conference history to run the table in the regular season, the Nova Southeastern men's basketball team was rightfully represented on Wednesday's release of the 2021-22 All-SSC teams, as the Sharks earned four of the five major awards handed out by the league. Headlining the group, Sekou Sylla was named SSC Player of the Year, as well as SSC Newcomer of the Year. RJ Sunahara, meanwhile, was selected as SSC Defensive Player of the Year, with head coach Jim Crutchfield taking home SSC Coach of the Year honors.
