Season Recap: Veteran Group Moves Men’s Basketball Program Forward

Wheeling, W. Va. – The Wheeling University Men's Basketball team entered the 2022 season with expectations at an all-time high. The Cardinals returned a group of veteran players who were coming off a run to the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Quarterfinals and were looking to take it farther this season. They were involved in a lot of tight games throughout the season, and once again made it back to the MEC Quarterfinals, but they bowed out to West Liberty ending a year that included several milestone performances for the team.
