RU sweeps final doubleheader versus Metro, wins series behind Harpman and Covington's arms

DENVER – The Regis University softball team (30-20, 24-11 RMAC) swept the final doubleheader in their series versus MSU Denver (31-20, 19-15 RMAC) Sunday afternoon at the Regis Softball Field. RU took the opener 7-2 behind fantastic pitching and equally as impressive bats. The series closer was just as exciting as junior RHP Abby Covington dueled her way to her fifth win of the year as Regis won the four-game series.
