Pioneers Uses Strong First Half to Spoil Stan State’s Home Opener

The visiting Cal State East Bay Pioneers shot 50% from the field including 58% in the first half to key their 86-76 victory over Stan State in both team's CCAA opener at The Fitz this evening. Dontrell Hewlett had 19 points to lead the way for the hosts. John Wade III added 15 points and four steals with Micah Boone scoring 10 points for the Warriors.
