Penalty Kick Goal Puts Crusaders Over Barton

Tigerville, SC – The North Greenville Crusaders secured a 1-0 victory over the Bulldogs of Barton College this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. Over seventy minutes would go by with the match still scoreless, but Abby Mayer changed that with a penalty kick that resulted in a goal to put NGU up for good. The Crusaders led both halves in shots with a total of seventeen while Barton posted eight.
