Overtime Thriller Ends With Mighty Oaks Holding Off Midway University

After the Oakland City University men's basketball team fought their way to a 45-43 halftime lead, it was obvious that the second matchup between the Midway University Eagles and the Mighty Oaks would be another battle. OCU was on the wrong end of an 80-77 score on January 9, despite leading by three at the midway point of their first meeting. Game two's score stood at 81-81 when the horn sounded to signal the end of regulation, and the Oaks were able to pull off the win, 94-90, in the overtime period.
