OCU at Southwestern Christian men's basketball preview

THE MATCHUP

• Oklahoma City University will make the short trip to Bethany to face Southwestern Christian in Sooner Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon.
• The Stars and Eagles will enter the game tied for fourth in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with identical 5-3 league records. OCU received a forfeit win over Wayland Baptist and a forfeit loss to Panhandle State earlier this month in games affected by COVID protocols. SCU has had no games cancelled or postponed due to COVID.
• OCU holds a 14-3 edge in the all-time series against Southwestern Christian. The Stars have won 13 of the last 14 match-ups against the Eagles. The lone SCU win during this stretch was a 79-78 win in Bethany on Jan. 15, 2015.
