Nyameye Adom named to the D3hoops.com of the Week

Wheaton, Ill. – Wheaton College senior Nyameye Adom has been named the to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week. Adom's selection joins his recognition yesterday as the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week in men's basketball. Adom helped lead the Thunder to a 2-0 record last week with an 81-57 victory at Carroll last Wednesday and a 67-62 win at home against No. 3 Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday. The senior averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in the two contests. He shot 50% (14-of-28) from the field and had a 92.9% (13-of-14) effort at the free throw line.
