Northeastern Earns Fourth CAA Regular-Season Championship in 2020-21

BOSTON – Northeastern went 8-2 in Colonial Athletic Association play to earn its fourth regular-season championship in 2020-21, the most by any current CAA member. Despite being hit by COVID-19 right before the CAA tournament, including having just three live practices and games since Jan. 23, NU was able to advance to the CAA semifinals for the fourth consecutive season and 15th-year head coach Bill Coen set the all-time wins record at Northeastern with 251, surpassing legendary head coach Jim Calhoun (1972-86).
