North Greenville Unable to Complete Comeback, Falls to Columbus State to End Season

Tigerville, SC – The 2021 NGU baseball season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion as the Crusaders nearly completed a comeback victory but ultimately fell short against the Cougars of Columbus State University with a final score of 10-9. After trailing for the majority of the game, the Crusaders were able to tie the game up in the 8th, but two runs by the Cougars in the top fo the 9th proved to be enough as NGU could only get one run back in the bottom of the inning. Reece Fields was charged with the loss.
