No. 4 Men's Basketball Regular Season Finale Cancelled

ERIE, Pa. – Due to unforeseen circumstances both Mercyhurst University and Clarion University have agreed to cancel their scheduled contest for Wednesday night at Tippin Gymnasium.  Unfortunately, for the fourth-ranked Lakers it will bring about the end of one of the best regular seasons in program history after their 11-0 start, which has been done just one other time at Mercyhurst.  On the bright side for the Green and Blue it brings about optimism of postseason play as they believe they have done enough to prove to the NCAA that a spot in the upcoming NCAA Atlantic Regional belongs to Mercyhurst.
